Well, it's July already and my office work has not slowed down long enough to get any amount of sewing done. It is very hot and humid here in the midwest and I am hoping for an end to it soon. You would think that because the weather is keeping me inside that I would have gotten alot done by now, but NO!

Well I've gotta get back to work.

Wellllll, its June already! Where is this year going? I have been so busy lately! High School alumni banquets, family gatherings, public celebrations, and kids being here alot, (I love that part) : )

It has gotten hot here early, we are having July weather in June, but that's ok, I'm not going to complain.

Have a great June, maybe I'll be back before the month is out!

It's already January and I am trying to better organize my life so that things get done this year.
I've done pretty good so far by trying to do something each night rather than just sitting and watching TV.

This weekend I am going to start taking sown Christmas Decorations and getting them put up so that the "Great House Cleaning" can begin. I am going to have the biggest Yard/Garage sale this spring!

I am hoping that this will be the first step to a simpler life considering we are planning to buy a motor home and move south sometime in the next 4-5 years.

we have a few projects that need to be done on the house to sell it first though.

The yearly trust fund payment will be here in a couple of months and after I get the cruise booked in June, then the rest will go into the house.

I am going to try to post more to my blog this year also. I have some sewing and needlework to so everyone and maybe I'll even get some new done. I really need to get some quilts put together and I have a couple of 'special' works to get done.

The holiday season is upon us.

One week from today is Nov 1st. I just can't believe that the end of the year is so close! I am getting geared up to go to holiday fairs and such. My husband and I are making something new this year and I am really excited! I will post pictures when we get the first one made. Would really like some ideas and to see what others are crafting this year. Send me pictures.

I am so ready for fall, except for one thing, I haven't made a single thing to sell. Guess I had better get busy with that. It has really been a rough summer around here, the company my husband works for has gone wacko and it is really putting some stress on him. I am hoping that gets better as time goes on. It has been very hot and humid here and my allergies have not allowed me outside much and it shows in the yard. Well, I'm going to stop whining now and get back to work. I'll post pics when I get something done.

Tax season is almost over and I am soooo ready to get out of the office and back to the sewing room and into the garden!
Winter here in Missouri has been a long one and I for one am very tired of being cooped up and cold.
